St-Barth, shopping destination

 

Shopping is one of the most popular tourist activities in Saint Barth, making it an important aspect of the island’s tourism platform. It is also one of the criteria of attractiveness that the Territorial Tourism Committee of St Barthélemy feels is important to help promote the destination. In this light, the Tourism Committee is supporting a prestigious event that puts the spotlight on the island’s boutiques: close to 300 executive women are invited to enjoy a day of shopping in Saint Barth.
These business leaders are taking part in a conference, “Women With Purpose Global Summit…Mind, Body & Soul”, organized by Valérie Norman Grammon on the neighboring island of Saint Martin, June 18-22, 2013. Mme Norman Gammon is an award-winning television celebrity in the United States, as well as the producer of major events and festivals.

During their stay in the Caribbean, these top-level directors, managers, and entrepreneurs will have the chance to discover Saint Barth and the name brands available on the island, many of which are associated with the luxury market. The presence of important French fashion houses (Hermes, Vuitton, Cartier, etc.) as well as international companies in Saint Barth is an important factor in the attractiveness of the island, in addition to its natural assets, such as its great beach and beautiful landscape.

And how important is the high level of security that reigns on our small Caribbean island where celebrities and stars can enjoy themselves in total tranquility?
